Now, about the opportunity: In your role as an IT generalist you’re jack of all trades. With a broad experience in the different aspects of IT you can fill in gaps within the IT organization wherever they exist. This can vary from working on projects to supporting the different teams with tasks at hand. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity.

In this role you will:

• Work on a wide range of IT projects
• Support the different IT teams where needed in their daily operations
• Install and configure software and hardware
• Account management and auditing, including creation, deletion, and appropriate permission scopes
• Maintain and monitor performance of platforms according to requirements
• Troubleshoot errors and outages by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Assist InfoSec team with configuring and testing systems for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
• Other IT-related tasks as needed

Requirements

Experience you already have:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a wide range of IT subjects (networking, cloud, development, IT support etc.)
• Strong familiarity with working in project teams as well as independently
• Epic analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• An organized approach to your tasks at hand
• Excellent English both written and spoken
• Experience running audits/reports and presenting findings
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language
• Extensive experience in admin consoles of modern platforms; ideal technical knowledge includes administration experience with:
  • Cloud-Based Business Platforms: Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise Grid, Microsoft365
  • Security Tools: Jamf Pro (MDM), Crowdstrike Falcon (Endpoint Management), OneLogin (SSO)
  • Video Conferencing Solutions: Zoom, Google Meet, WebEx
  • Networking Hardware: Fortinet, Ubiquiti and Aruba HPE
  • macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android
  • Bonus points for experience with automation or APIs
• Ability and willingness to work across time zones
• An abundance of patience!
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
