Now, about the opportunity: In the Storage Engineer/Administrator position, you’ll be responsible for setting up and maintaining our global post production storage. This is a role where you’ll partner with different stakeholders in the IT organization to make sure everything is running with the highest standards in terms of speed and security. You also liaise with the Post production team on a regular basis to make sure that any issues are resolved swiftly. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity.

In this role you will:

• Be an integral part of the roll out of our new to be implemented global post production storage solution
• Work tirelessly to make sure our global post production storage is operating on the highest standards.
• Work with the different IT teams to troubleshoot any performance issues that come up regarding the storage solution
• Work together with the network engineers to ensure the storage network performs at the level needed.
• Continuously work on hardening of the storage and storage network
• Work on ad hoc and planned projects with the system administrator and network engineers

Requirements

Experience you already have:

• At least 3-5 years experience in storage engineering with a specialization in Media amp; Entertainment
• Good communication skills both written and verbal (English)
• Brilliant knowledge in designing, configuring, developing, integrations, testing, implementing, documentation, and supporting of high capacity storage infrastructure ecosystems
• Extensive knowledge and experience of Qumulo
• Experienced with hybrid cloud/on-prem storage
• Deep knowledge of backup archiving and recovery tools (Atempo)

Plusses

• Knowledge of other storage technologies
• AWS experience
