Job Description
For our office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands we are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Team.
The main responsibilities of this position will include creation of original environmental graphic design and branding, as well as the development of creative strategies across hospitality, retail and brand experiences.
Experience within these fields is a must and awareness to think in 3D comms highly advantageous.
You'll be a team player in a multi-disciplinary agency and will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will have a keen interest in current trends and innovations across graphics, hospitality, retail and other fields as well as being more design focussed than art direction.
This is a full time employment position (40 hours /week)
In order to be eligible for this position you must be already in possession of a work permit for the Netherlands or a EU work permit . Full relocation to the Netherlands will be required.
Depending on COVID developments, it is possible that the chosen candidate will work remotely from their residence in the Netherlands until all workforce resumes to work from the office again.
Requirements
- 4-6 years experience as graphic designer
- Graphic, branding and related degree
- A strong ‘all-rounder’, confident across:
- Concept development and ideation
- Design and illustration
- Execution, creating final print artwork
- Impressive portfolio of a wide range of work, with experience in
- Branding
- Environmental graphic design is ideal across hospitality /retail / or work spaces
- Experience design: such as ideation for retail services, or brand experiences
- Excellent communication skills with a strong understanding of English
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite in particular Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Basic knowledge of Keynote
- Team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines
- Confident in working on international projects
- Being reliable, able to follow through and complete tasks, prepared to go the extra mile
- Excellent command of English language (our company language) written and spoken.
- Demonstrated intercultural awareness and ability to interact with a diverse team within UXUS and within our clients’ network
