Now, about the opportunity: In the Junior 2D Motion Graphics Animator position, you’ll work on creating motion graphics and move pixels across space with grace. Focused around 2D animation, motion graphics and animated type, with small pockets of video editing, the job is a mix of original work and creating equally awesome adaptations from existing styles and assets.

This is a role where you’ll partner with a global team in producing top quality content for one of the world’s most recognizable technology brands. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities.

In this role you will:

• Be part of our mighty Animation amp; Motion Graphics department, where you’ll create motion graphics for amazing projects, producing work for one of our most beloved brands.
• Mix of original work and create equally awesome adaptations from existing styles and assets.
• Work as part of a fully integrated production operation, with 5,000+ Monks from all production disciplines working together to craft awesome work.
• Team up with world-class developers to work on interactive projects, or collaborate with top-notch artists and illustrators to achieve a specific style.

Requirements

• For this Entry level position, we are looking for a versatile animation artist with about 1 year of experience in the motion graphics field.
• You can produce drop-dead gorgeous animations, illustrations and designs, even under skinny jeans-tight deadlines.
• After effects, Animate/Toon Boom, Photoshop and Illustrator are a must
• When it comes to animating graphics, you know how to get the principal details right, or break ’em for artistic effect.
• Next to the language of motion, you can make yourself clear in English too.
• However, the job’s not only about technical artistry. To excel in this role, you have to be a team player skilled in communicating problems and progress, as well as being practiced in working together with juniors and seniors alike.
• You must have a multidisciplinary set of skills across the creative process, such as storyboarding, scripting, character design, illustration and even sound design/audio mixing.
