We are looking for a dynamic individual to own execution and continuous improvement of an induction and training programme for Zapp’s Dark Store Employees. As a Dark Store Training Manager, you will be an ambassador for our company’s Customer Obsession Culture and integral part of making the Zapp magic happen, by ensuring that our Fulfilment Staff is provided the correct and complete knowledge, skills, and processes they need to delight our customers, every time, 24/7.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and deliver regular induction and training sessions for new Dark Store Location Managers, Supervisors and Associates to ensure excellent customer service
- Regularly coach new and existing Dark Store Location Managers, Supervisors and Associates about the importance of Zapp’s customer obsessed attitude, following processes, and being proactive about asking for help and clarity when needed
- Develop training materials for Dark Store Location Manager’s, Supervisor’s and Associate’s induction, gather feedback on materials, and regularly seek out opportunities to improve training materials - both content and format
- Research and develop new training strategies amp; techniques for our teams on how to make the training more time efficient but also more fun and memorable
- Support new location launches by developing materials and delivering training pre- as well as on launch day
- Working with identified stores to improve results in conjunction with the Area Manager
- Develop and keep up to date a training log for all Dark Store Location Managers, Supervisors and Associates, so that Zapp has visibility on each employee’s level of training received
Requirements
- Training delivery experience for large audience / high volume team setup (e.g. hotels, cruises, airlines, restaurant groups, retail)
- Passion for training and talent development
- Excellent presentation skills, confident speaking in front of a crowd
- Able to tailor communication style for large audience, to coaching an individual, to as to get the message across clearly in the best way possible
- Clear and engaging communication skills- in person, over the phone and in writing
- Previous experience and ability to create training materials e.g. in a ppt presentation is a plus
