Purpose of the role
Each role is focused on the growth of our Business-to-Business B2B product set in one of our new markets; France, Netherlands, Germany and Italy. The location for each role is flexible.
Reporting to the Head of International Product each role will define, design, develop and deliver the suite of new features and capabilities to support our local customers.
Encompassing consumer-facing technical product development in the form of websites and apps, all the way through to unlocking innovation in actuarial science by developing pricing engines and novel data integrations, our Product team is responsible for a diverse set of capabilities. These roles will work with Product Managers across the business to understand each space and their application to the local markets - seeking opportunities to delight customers and drive growth.
You will own the local iteration of the B2B product offering, including our portal for our B2B customers and internal sales and account management tooling, ensuring each is made fit for local adoption. You will also be rapidly testing and learning within your market, establishing Minimum Viable Products (MVP) to iteratively test and learn from seeking to find new opportunities for our customers to save them time and money. Under the guidance of the Head of International Products, you will also seek opportunities to explore your local innovations in adjacent markets, sharing learnings with the core B2B team.
You’ll be working alongside your partners in Underwriting to establish new Insurance Products for our customers, delivered and supported by the technical products you develop.
You’ll be working closely with senior leaders in sales, marketing and account management to deliver the best possible products to our customers, and as such you’ll have strong knowledge and understanding of B2B acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention through digital products.
You will be running a small engineering squad and will therefore be comfortable in the role of Product Owner in the agile methodology.
