Role: Alliance Manager

This role can be based in any Norgine office

MAIN PURPOSE:

To work with the Director, Alliance Management, to develop and manage key allocated licensing partnerships within Norgine. Work within the Commercial team and in collaboration with BD team where required to provide a professional and complete Alliance Management activity for Norgine globally. In particular, this role will ensure that internal and external relationships are managed effectively and will have primary responsibility for specific in-licensing and out-licensing relationships.

DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementation of Alliance Management processes within Norgine including new alliance launches, as and when required
  
• Responsibility for management of specific pre and post deal activities required to optimise the timing and effectiveness of the alliance
  
• Management of all internal and external activities required as part of third party commercial relationships

• Communicating the Company’s views to the partner, understanding the partner’s interests and the implications of them on the alliance.

• Oversight and management of document sharing with partners using the SharePoint (or other specified) platform

• Responsibility for specific in-licensing and out-licensing partnerships

• Management of license agreements, including milestones and commitments. Creation and ownership of commitment trackers and presentations of contract obligations

• Proactively identifying and managing potential risks, including developing contingency planning, as well as opportunities for realizing and increasing value.

• Project management of all internal and external activities required to support partners

• Development and maintenance of a strong internal and external network.
  
• Alliance Management representative on Programme Teams for in or out-licensed projects

Requirements

BEHAVIOURS AND SKILLS:

• Experience in Alliance Management essential
• Strong Project Management skills
• Broad experience of the Pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of people across functions and countries
• Able to think strategically and keep focussed on deliverables, key issues and priorities
• Detail oriented with excellent documentation skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Able to operate independently or as part of a team
• Other European languages an advantage
• Excellent IT skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Life Sciences Degree
• Post-graduate business qualification an advantage
