Now, about the opportunity: in the Jr. level Legal Counsel position, you’ll be responsible for the clearance of international marketing campaigns and you’ll support negotiating commercial contracts for creative production projects for a well-known automotive brand. This position can be performed from the Hilversum office.

In this role you will:

• Work closely with internal counsel with regards to production, intellectual property rights management, music rights, talent rights and clearance matters;
• Be responsible for the wrap-up process after production;
• Provide legal support on compliance and clearance matters for our (international) projects and campaigns.
• Support with negotiations on commercial contracts and other legal agreements for our projects.
• You’ll help manage our legal administration to keep our day-to-day legal practices up-to-date.
• Work closely together with your colleagues within the Legal team, key account managers and producers;
• Report to the Sr. Legal Counsel on this account;
• Fulfill an exciting EMEA role at a leading production company in the creative industry;
• Work in an informal and innovative organization with short communications lines;
• Be part of a close-knit team for a rapidly growing company;
• Develop your skills in an international environment.

Experience you already have:

• Master of Laws degree. Although not required, it is considered a plus if you have knowledge of European civil or commercial law;
• 1 - 3 years PQE, in-house experience is required;
• Experience with commercial contracting and IP matters;
• Experience in the creative, advertising or automotive industry is a plus;
• Excellent in communication and stakeholder management;
• Strong time management skills: prioritizing, multi-tasking and decision making;
• Fluent in English and any other European language is a plus.
• Last but definitely not least, a mind for business and a strong work ethic and you are flexible to take on tasks in new areas.
