Business Unit Finished Dosage Forms (FDF) uses own manufactured Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients to produce finished dosages. The Business Unit formally was established in July 2014. The Business Unit has a global scope with already a strong market presence in Europe.
This relative new Business Unit has grown significantly to fully staff all functional teams to make sure that the ambitious growth plans will be executed in the coming years.
The Finance department of the business Unit FDF has a vacancy in its Rijswijk office, for the following position:
Controller
The Position
Assist and support the Finance Director in executing the Finance and Control policies and requirements. You are able to manage, monitor and control the financial accounting processes.
The main activities and responsibilities
- Monitor and control financial performance of the Pamp;L and balance accounts
- Effective and efficient reporting. Report deviations, advise on actions for improvement
- Support annual budget process, quarterly Rolling Annual Forecast, and monitoring of monthly actuals results
- Responsible for analyzing, reporting and improving Working Capital including cashflow forecast. (Credit Management, Acc.Payable amp; Inventory)
- Key user for SAP and maintain Masterdata*
- Assist the FD with overall reporting amp; forecasting responsibilities
- Participate in multi-disciplinary projects
- Continuously improve reports, integrating new needs in order to have an actionable report which supports the growth plans of the Business Unit
- Support and initiate projects and process improvements to increase efficiencies
The Ideal Candidate
You are result oriented, accurate, process improver, business oriented, a team player, independent, and have good judgment.
You have:
- Bachelor's or Academic degree in (business) Economics/Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling roles.
- Ability to see the overall business model and key success factors.
- Business acumen.
- High personal impact (strong presentation skills, effective communication).
- A proactive and can-do mentality is a must
- Analytical skills.
- Ability to work in an intercultural team.
- Ability to work in a complex organization which still is developing.
- Experience in an industry/production environment is preferred
- Experience with SAP is plus.
- Advanced knowledge of/experience with MS Excel/Powerpoint.
- Fluent in English verbally as well as in writing.
