Job Description

As a New Business Development Director at DPDK, you’ll have the opportunity to unleash your sales potential by driving our global business development strategy. You’ll be responsible for new client acquisition and capturing new business opportunities.

You’ll manage the entire sales process from start-to-finish including generating new leads, assessing opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, responding to RFPs and closing deals.

You’ll play an important role in growing our agency, expanding our business and get to work with some of the brightest minds out there. You’ll become part of the business team and work closely together with marketing and new business departments.

This is what you’ll do

  • Own the whole sales cycle for DPDK from prospecting to lead nurturing, pitching to creating proposals, following-up to closing deals
  • Constantly identify, assess and develop pipeline growth strategies and new business opportunities
  • Generate new leads by reaching out to the right contacts within our target market. You’ll do this by yourself and in close collaboration with our marketing team
  • Run end-to-end pitch and proposal processes, where you’ll pinpoint the client’s needs, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to create strategic and creative pitch deliverables and RFP responses
  • Keep track of key potential clients in the region, maintain an up-to-date contact list, and update Hubspot in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage the handover process from new business accounts to Business- and project consultancy teams
  • Actively share your knowledge and learnings with other team members to improve our processes and client relationships

Requirements

  • True sales professional with a minimum of 8 years experience, preferably in a digital agency
  • An excellent communicator, able to successfully read your audience, get your point across and influence outcomes, especially among C-suite leaders in marketing and IT departments
  • A relationship builder, who can identify clients’ pain points and is not afraid to challenge them without being aggressive
  • An expert closer with tried and tested techniques for sealing deals and warming up leads
  • A CX geek, who knows what challenges the C-suite faces and is aware of industry trends and best practices
  • Well versed with navigating complex sales processes, creating elaborate proposals and B2B buying behavior
  • Able to give great presentations that communicate DPDK’s added value in a compelling way
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Dutch is a plus
