Job Description

Can you help us change the world?

Yes, you read that correctly. It sounds grand, but we’ve got big ideas at Mews. We’re transforming the world of hospitality, re-imagining the industry with a best-in-class cloud-based property management solution for hotels, hostels, apartments, and so much more.

We’re on the lookout for ambitious, tenacious and passionate people who want to join the next generation of innovators and disrupt the hospitality industry with us. Sound good so far? If you’re a Product Marketing Content Manager with passion for Content, keep reading and tumble down the Mews rabbit hole...

About the role

First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do, because this is a job description), it would be this:

We’re looking for a true content lover to join our Product Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you’ll become the voice of the Mews product to our customers (not your actual voice, unless you sound like Morgan Freeman). You’ll influence how we talk to our target audience and how we take our products to market, having a huge impact on the success of Mews. No pressure.

You’re someone who gets excited by competitive positioning, innovative technology, and valuable product features. You love talking about the products you represent and will help us with sales enablement, playbooks, product launches and everything in between. You’ll be in a highly visible role, with exposure across all levels of the business. If you’re looking for a growth opportunity, this is it.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Ensure the correct positioning and communication is presented to customers, for all aspects of the products and every stage of the sales cycle and implementation journey. You can only do this if you love writing and crafting strong messaging that educates, engages, and ticks all the boxes. You’ll empower our Commercial and Customer Success teams with sales enablement materials.

You’ll help present the product’s value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our customers’ problems. That means you’ll need a perfect grasp on our witty tone of voice (if we say so ourselves) and understand how to fine-tune it perfectly to our customer personas.

Our product isn’t simple. There are loads of moving parts, so you’ll have to be a word ninja when it comes to translating complex product features into language that’s easily understood by our customers through all marketing collaterals. Sales slide decks, blogs, user guides, webinars, newsletters, product documentation... You won’t be short on variety, and it will be your job to manage these items too; not just create, but update, review, reorganize and remove where necessary. If you still think you’re up to it, that’s excellent news. Keep reading.

Requirements

You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below traits with you:

  • 3+ years in Product Marketing experience in the B2B SaaS area, targeting C-levels
  • Strong writing skills and an adaptive tone of voice
  • Master storyteller with a proven track record in crafting compelling marketing content (product sheet, blog post, newsletter, etc.)
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable using text, videos and pictures
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively and independently manage multiple projects
  • Attention to detail and ability to write comprehensive, compelling content
  • Best-in-class written communication skills in English

Bonus points for:

  • Great to have but not essential: basic HTML
  • Knowledge of eCommerce, Logistics software or Enterprise B2B SaaS
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Image capture tools
  • Basic video editing skills
  • Strong PPT knowledge

Benefits

What’s in it for you?

Did you know that Mews was voted the Best Place to Work in Hotel Tech in 2021? You do now. Most of that is down to our inspiring team, but part of it is because of some pretty amazing perks. As well as awesome colleagues and stimulating work, you'll get:

  • Company shares
  • Unlimited holiday (no, this is not a typo)
  • Health and wellness plans
  • Flexible Benefits via Ben Platform
  • Remote/flexible working
  • Regular team events, socials and a legendary annual company gathering, Mews Con (the only con that’s actually a pro)

Who is Mews?

We want to get to know you, so it’s only fair we tell you a little bit about ourselves first. We were founded in 2012 by a tea
