Key about your team
Your team is a modern scrum team within the Product Development department and develops one or more modules in our non-life insurance product Axon. It is the responsibility of your team to deliver a high-value, high-quality product that really fits the needs of our customers. By creating and maintaining state-of-the-art software that models the insurers’ business, your team provides the best solution that supports insurance processes.
As a self-organizing scrum team, your team organizes their work in such a way that customer satisfaction is achieved through developing high quality software in an optimal way.
Key about your role
As a junior test engineer within a scrum team you use your testing skills to add quality to the product. Together with designers and developers, you ensure that the software products that your team delivers meet the quality standards of our customers. You provide quality throughout the software development lifecycle by implementing different types of tests. Your manual system tests give insight in the quality of changes and bugfixes done by the development team. By scripting automated regression tests you ensure that vital parts of the system are continuously tested. You analyse and quantify non-functionals like performance, security and usability.
You actively look for cooperation with colleagues from different teams and departments and by combining different insights you acquire the best results. As part of a test community, and within your team, you are always looking for opportunities to keep improving on our test environments, test ware and testing techniques and processes.
