Tellow is a well developed, documented and launched fintech company. The user base is growing and we are getting ready to scale steep in 2021. It is essential to continuously innovate the product to make sure we are ahead of the competition. We need a strong technological and hands-on leader to make sure we can do that in a sustainable and secure way.
Next to tech, the Tech Lead needs to focus on product development and manage teams to help Tellow’s management to choose features and develop new functionalities with their team. The Tech Lead is on top of trends, creates and analyzes which new functionalities will be beneficial for the product and manages the team to implement them.
We expect you to code and have a strong understanding of the coding process, oversee developers' work and accurately estimate workload for new features.

- Promote engineering excellence and leadership across the board, focusing on effective cross-functional collaboration and end-to-end responsibility,
- Management of the engineering and product team.
- Provide constant guidance, operational management and leadership to support the engineering team on a track of continuous improvement and growth.
- Architecture updates amp; DevOps tasks.
- Be a primary driver of innovation both product and tech wise.
- Recruitment, onboarding and staff management in collaboration with the CEO.
- Align tech with the Group CTO.
- Quality Assurance and debugging.
- Minimum 5 years experience at startup, scaleup or standalone corporate venture.
- Developer by heart, dreaming in code.
- Previous startup or scaleup experience.
- Previous experience of coaching and managing teams.
- Top-notch knowledge and experience with technologies.
- Extensive programming and QA skills.
- Project and team management skills.
- Communication, mentorship, and leadership skills.
- Advanced knowledge of PHP, Node.js amp; Google Cloud Platform (Kubernetes)

- Experience in SaaS or Platform play (preferably Fintech amp; Payments)
