The Financial Accountant handles the end-to-end financial accounting of the assigned CLEVR legal entities. This covers all functions including GL accounting, AP / AR, invoicing, VAT, payroll, as well as financial controlling. In this role you will be instrumental to help scale the CLEVR business for exponential international growth in the coming years.

Your Tasks
·Daily accounting and finance tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll entries.
·Responsible for timely and accurate invoicing of services and subscription revenues.
·Interacting with the professional services department on project set-up / administration, analysis of project results, etc.
·Preparing and executing AP payments.
·Expense reimbursements.
·Preparing VAT returns.
·Credit control.
·Month close procedures, and financial reporting.
·Maintaining account reconciliations, and assisting in the annual audits.
·Recommending and implementing continuous improvements.
·Help automate processes, and improve use of systems.
·Participating in projects, and addressing any ad hoc questions.
Requirements
CLEVR is looking for an analytical and meticulous Financial Accountant
Your Profile
·Degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting and Control or equivalent.
·A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as accountant, with overall GL responsibility of multiple legal entities. ·Experience at international scale-up companies, preferably in technology services, with subscription revenues from SaaS. ·Experience with the set-up, administration and invoicing of services projects.
·Experience with maintaining contract registers of subscription revenues.
·Solid all-round accountant, and experienced with maintaining high-quality account reconciliations.
·Familiar with finance processes, including purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, payroll; able to document and help improve processes.
·Experience with implementing and maintaining internal controls.
·Systems oriented, and experience working in (various) ERP systems (e.g. AFAS).
·Analytical and meticulous.
·Good business acumen, with a mindset to service the business.
·Very organized, ambitious with a drive to always meet internal and external deadlines.
·Work independently and cohesively with others.
·Willing to go the extra mile, with a smile.
·Fluent in Dutch and English.
