As a Production Engineer you are responsible for the execution of PE tasks for a complete line part in the Motorenfabriek.

• You will take the lead, or participate in, the continuous improvement of the production processes according to Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• You ensure an integration of the production and engineering activities.
• You offer assistance in implementing major product changes. The challenges are diverse,
• think, for example, of layout and equipment, logistics and automation.
• You coach and develop PE'ers. In addition, you will also work on team development.
• You define, manage and improve the internal work processes;
• You ensure that internal stakeholders are well-liked by means of a thorough progress report.
• be informed about the status of projects on your line section;
• You create a good work structure within your own team of Production Engineers and by setting priorities ensure a good work balance between running business and product-/procesprojecten;
• You translate the objectives of the organization into concrete actions for your team.

As a Senior Production Engineer you will report to the Group Head of Production Engineering

Requirements

• Completed technical HBO or University education (e.g. mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or technical business administration)
• Several years of relevant work experience in a production environment
• Experience or affinity with assembly amp; test processes, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• You are service-oriented, have a hands-on mentality and are analytical
• You communicate smoothly in Dutch and English with suppliers and colleagues
