While our story started off in Turkey, we recently launched Getir in the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands and many more countries will follow soon. And it’s going incredibly well to be honest! After our initial launch in Amsterdam, we are now getting ready to expand further into the Netherlands and are looking for extremely talented and ambitious professionals to join our team.
What you’ll do as a Store Manager at Getir:
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of your dark store.
- Ensure that your team, consisting of store assistants, shift leads and couriers, is well trained, motivated and always ready to meet business requirements.
- Monitor real-time and periodic performance KPI’s, ensuring that all store and company targets, operational goals, policies and procedures are met and maintained.
- Manage and maintain staff scheduling, attendance and contribute to payroll administration. Manage your team effectively and ensure optimum cover during trading hours.
- Improve store efficiency and reduce operational costs, but without ever compromising on safety.
- Lead by example! Demonstrate the values of the business and inspire your team to do the same.
- Be a valued member of Getir’s Store Operations team, share your knowledge and ideas, support your colleagues and take the initiative to make us better.
Requirements
What we expect you will bring to us:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in managing a team in a supermarket, retail store or hospitality outlet. Multi-site experience is a plus.
- Great analytical skills with the ability to work with a broad set of KPI’s and the ability to identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.
- A highly adaptable mind, able to switch between long-term strategic initiatives one moment and pivot into rapid, tactical actions the next.
- Commitment and flexibility: Getir’s dark stores operate 7 days/week, from early morning till late in the evening. As a Store Manager we expect you to understand when your team needs your leadership the most. It is essential for you to work across the shifts, including weeknights and weekends.
- You are an inspirational leader, displaying excellent management skills, identifying and developing talent in your team to encourage career progress and employee satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills and most importantly: a can-do, will-do attitude.
