We are looking for an experienced software engineer to strengthen our development team at Studio 397. As part of Motorsport Games, we develop both the rFactor 2 racing simulation and the core simulation technology that underpins all MSG games on PC and consoles. We are looking for people with a deep passion for racing simulation as well as motorsport.
You will be working on the rFactor 2 core simulation that consists of a client and a dedicated server. You will need a thorough understanding of C++, threading and memory models as well as experience with soft real-time programming and creating robust, long running applications. A good understanding of networking is also required.
Studio 397 works as a distributed team from home, physically scattered, so you will need to be comfortable working with team members in different time zones.
The ideal candidate has experience working in one or more graphics engines and preferably has experience building their own engines.
