Our Club Practice Group

This role sits within one of our Clubs (business unit) in a senior team called a Practice Group. These people will inspire and challenge our ANDi’s to grow into exceptional digital experts, through teaching, mentoring, coaching and thought leadership. While creating spaces beyond the day to day to guide clients on how best to approach their problems. Finally, as a Principal, you will collaborate with AND stakeholders in the business development process, applying your skills to qualify the potential and maximise the value of new engagements.

The Product Part

As a Product Principal, you will head the product capability within the Club and with clients. As a result, you will need to be able to:

• Show a proven track record of leading and nurturing product teams and owning successful digital products.
• Develop ambitious visions and strategies. Using known models and techniques for defining and communicating a product strategy
• Understand and manage the activities required to uncover whether a product is viable, feasible, useable and valuable
• Direct product analysis including the discovery of information and the identification of problems and opportunities.
• Know how take a product from inception through to retirement and understand how people, processes and systems play a part in this
• Connect and champion a team through the different phases of the product life-cycle. You can maintain and iterate a product over time to continuously meet user needs.
• Champion users and identify their needs based on research and evidence
• Produce a product vision amp; mission that is easily understood by everyone in the organisation
• Create product oriented objectives and track using OKRs or similar
• Understand how to set up and run product experiments

Inspire Others

• Remain hands on by championing and influencing the direction of product builds
• Provide guidance and strategic advice to clients; be able to observe the problems closely and propose solutions
• Coach, mentor and upskill a team through implementing product best practices such as research, stories, product roadmap etc.
• Be hands-on with development teams; you’ll understand what good looks like and guide them to visualise the bigger picture
• Give and receive regular feedback to help the product community within your Club to develop and be more effective on client projects
• Use a range of tools, systems amp; techniques to analyse, visualise and communicate data
