At Sprinque, we are building the checkout infrastructure for frictionless B2B payments. Through a single, seamless integration with Sprinque’s B2B checkout platform, marketplaces and merchants can easily offer business buyers convenient and flexible payment options to pay for their purchases. This will increase order values and order conversion rates for marketplaces and merchants, which further benefit from automated payments workflows and invoice financing.

We are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our team. You will work closely together with the founders and the product and engineering teams to shape the future of the Sprinque B2B checkout platform. Location: We are building our first talent hub in the free-spirited city of Amsterdam and will expand to other locations in Europe over time. If you are not currently based in Amsterdam or The Netherlands, we would still love to hear from you, as we are a remote-friendly company, with a flexible working policy that accommodates onsite and remote teams alike. Remote team members may need to travel to Amsterdam from time-to-time to engage face-to-face with the rest of the Sprinque team.
Requirements
As Sprinque’s Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will define and lead the Credit Risk Management function within Sprinque. You will work closely together with the engineering team to shape and define the credit management component of the Sprinque platform, including external data integrations. Furthermore, you will define and implement our credit and line management policies, and develop our credit decision models.
Characteristics of the ideal candidate:
- You have several years of professional experience within B2B credit risk analysis and decisioning, working with traditional and alternative data sources to make fast and accurate credit decisions on SME businesses.
- You have a strong understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of business credit, from initial credit risk assessment through to debt collection.
- Alternatively, you have several years of professional experience, and an advanced degree, in a related technical or quantitative field, such as data science, machine learning, or statistical modelling.
- You are passionate about customer success.
- You love to experiment and test, to adopt various methods to solve problems and to challenge how things have always been done.
- You value collaboration and understand that building a digital checkout and payments platform is a team sport, and you enjoy working as part of a tight-knit team.
- You are happy to pitch in and help the team, whether by reviewing products and features, working closely with engineers on a problem, or just thinking about how to best solve the challenges we are facing.
