Recently we set up a new department, a new business vertical, a start-up if you will: Spoons on Wheels, our in-house last mile delivery service.

To manage our rapid growth, we are looking for an ambitious Logistics Coordinator with a can-do attitude.

You will report to and work with the Operations Manager of Spoons On Wheels, for now we will be a 2-man team, before it is expanded further.

We are looking for the Logistics Coordinator to help run our warehouse efficiently and according to food safety guidelines. The Logistics Coordinator responsibilities include supporting all supply chain procedures like sorting orders for delivery routes, coordinating line-haul deliveries to managing shipping documentation. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized and understand the order fulfillment cycle. Ultimately, you will ensure our customers receive the right orders on time.
We currently have pickups in Nieuwegein on Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Saturday-Sunday at 7:00 AM. Hour's are flexible but need to be organized around pickups and delivery route times.

• Running the day-to-day operations of sorting and loading orders for last-mile deliveries and line-hauls.
• Work with our vehicle- and route planning system to make sure all orders are planned on time.
• Track orders to ensure timely deliveries, and resolve driver issues
• Keep close contact with the Customer Care team about last minute changes to orders and keep them informed on order status.
• Optimizing and streamlining outbound processes and introducing best practices in warehousing amp; shipping
• Identify potential to increase efficiency amp; continuous development of processes and systems

Requirements

• Preferably a Bachelors or Associates degree (or more work experience in the similar role)
• Fluent Dutch and English
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Preferably experience in the food amp; beverage industry
• Able to lift boxes 15kg boxes
• Able to use a pallet jack
• Good communication skills
• Can-do attitude
• Pro-active / Curious / Ambitious
