Requirement Title: FFT Java Developer

Work is focused on supporting development of FFT tool set as Senior Java Developer, with experience with JavaScript and with full-stack (using Angular for front-end). Under direction of Project Manager or assigned task leader, candidate is required to conduct following activities:

List of activities will not be limited to above-mentioned tasks and may expand as requirements emerge and qualification of candidate allows.

Requirements

• Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
• Technical proposals for consultant(s) will be assessed on qualifications of individual proposed to perform work. Individual's resumes will be measured against each criteria specified below in order to ascertain whether individual has adequately demonstrated that they possess required qualification:
• Bachelor or Master's Degree in computer science, with specific studies in programming and preferably Java-based based development.
• 2+ years' experience in software development using Java, at least Java 8
• 2+ years' experience with full-stack development using Angular for front-end
• 5+ years' experience in XML processing (using Java and JavaScript code and XSLT) and XSD schema development/processing.
• Experience with Linux, and Microsoft Windows platforms. Main development and deployment environment is Linux.
• Experience with Agile Development methods.
• Knowledge of IP networking.
• 2+ years' experience with Spring Framework
• Experience with:
• a) Software version control systems, in particular Git;
• b) Baseline and configuration control;
• c) Maven as build management software;
• d) Jenkins for continuous integration;
• e) Setting up and leveraging virtual test environments, in particular Azure;
• f) Setting up automated tests, including unit testing using mocking frameworks such as Mockito and Powermock;
• g) Using test management tools, such as TestRail, TM4J
• Work flexibly in a software development team;
• Writing technical documentation (requirements, design, architecture, user and system administrator manual, training material) as related to software development project.
• Proven practical experience in software testing, including planning and reporting.
• Written and verbal fluency in English, as the work is conducted in English.
• Candidates must have nationality of one of NATO nations.
• Following qualifications are desirable:
• Previous experience in development and/or maintenance of NATO Java applications
• Previous experience in working for the NCI Agency
