Job Description

Managing and growing a portfolio of brands and suppliers in the Fashion Team;- Within the Fashion Team we work with brands and suppliers from various segments: Ready to Wear Kids, Women’s amp; Men’s, Footwear, Sports and accessories.- Brands whom we work with are amongst others: Retour Denim de Luxe, Vanilia, Dante 6, MEXX, New Zealand Auckland, McGregor New York and many more.- We provide various commercial services including Flash Sales, Market Place( to start Q1 2022) One Day Deals, Media, ‘digitally delivered goods’ DDG.
Responsible for the strategy, execution and performance of the department:Strategy:- Develop and implement category amp; segment growth strategies against current key account amp; prospects portfolio.- Align and agree the BNL Home amp; Deco Strategy with Veepee Group, to enhance category growth. KPI’s are Revenue and/ or Profitability.- Mine and apply insights on BNL market, category and segment development.
Commercial:- Lead the commercial agenda and deliver on account amp; financial targets.- This includes portfolio reviews, prospection, new business generation, commercial consulting with other markets and regions.- Support the team in upskilling capabilities e.g. negotiation, offer build up, commercial conditions.
Operational:- Lead and manage the Home amp; Deco agenda with residing departments e.g. logistics, production, marketing, customer care, finance, and planning in order to continuously improve Veepee’s performance both B2B as B2C.- Lead and manage the development and execution of the annual commercial calendar and secure adherence to planning and processes by the team.
HR amp; People Management:- Supporting and coaching your team (currently 5 people, more to come in 2022), monitoring the capacity, evaluations amp; objectives.
You report to the Commercial Director Netherlands.Frequent travel between offices and to accounts in NL amp; BE is part of the roleWHAT YOU BRING
  • At least 7 years’ experience in a commercial role, Pamp;L responsibility.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in managing a team.
  • Excellent commercial skills: incl analytics, segmentation, account management.
  • Experience, knowledge and network in the Fashion category is a Plus.
  • Excellent command in CRM BI Tools.
  • Commercial assertiveness.
  • Energy and Humor.
  • Fluent in Dutch amp; English, French is a plus.
