Business Development Director, SME

We are hiring a Business Development Director to join us on the SME vertical Ecom sector focusing on Vending machine Providers, Digital goods, Retail merchants. This role will report directly to the VP of SME.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, negotiate, close strategic accounts in SMB vertical with a special focus on recruiting Vending machine POS/Terminal providers.
  
• Build up thought leadership both inside the company, in the digital goods/retail community and at the trade shows amp; industry conferences
• Attract, recruit, lead and retain a team of high performing business development managers
• Work with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, legal, compliance, finance) to launch and manage strategic partnerships

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Fintech, at least 3 years of which must be direct working experience in a Ecom/Digital goods company in a similar capacity
• Complex solution selling (i.e., experience selling or delivering software or services that required the end client to realign certain business processes).
• Demonstrated success with sales campaigns in a fast paced, consultative, and competitive market.
• Leadership and management experience.
• Ability to travel (once Covid crisis is over).
• Global citizen mindset
