Alooba is looking for 2x exceptional product analysts for one of our travel industry clients based in Holland. Despite the global pandemic, this scale up travel company has - quite incredibly - more than doubled the size of its business over the last year. A truly customer-focused and disruptive company, they helped their customers book more than 1 million room nights over the last year.

This company’s teams have hybrid working model, with some people working out of the cool Amsterdam office, and others working remotely throughout the world. You can either relocate to Holland (supported by the business), or work anywhere within UTC-3 to UTC+5.

Our client uses Spotify’s tribes amp; squads model, and as these product analysts sit within the OTA (online travel agency) and marketplace tribes, respectively.

You’ll be expected to be commercial savvy, customer-centric and results-focused. You’ll be collaborative in how you work - this is not a lone warrior role. You’ll take complete ownership for your work, and raise the bar every day.

Day-to-day you will be:

1. Defining amp; analysing the results of various experiments
2. Defining, building amp; maintaining various dashboards to provide insights to your tribe and wider business
3. Helping to define amp; prioritise upcoming experiments
4. Conducting conversion rate optimisation analysis, user behaviour analysis and other analysis
5. Working with the product owner and tribe lead to guide them on the goals, priorities and roadmap of the tribe
6. Define what data needs to be tracked, how and why within your tribe
7. Proactively communicate your findings to the wider business
8. Collaborate with the data scientists amp; data engineers to optimise data driven features
9. Help to educate and drive a data-informed mentality within your tribe and the company; you really believe in data literacy

Requirements

Ideally you'd have:

1. At least a few years experience in product analytics
2. Significant experience building amp; maintaining dashboards within any modern BI tool, ideally Looker
3. Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
4. Deep product experience - you’ve probably got several years within a technology, software or product-focused company
5. Significant experience in defining and analysing A/B tests and other forms of experimentation
6. Significant experience in user behaviour analysis, conversion rate optimisation analysis
7. Strong foundational statistical knowledge

Nice to haves:

1. Payment analytics or fraud analytics experience
2. Python or R programming
3. Travel industry experience
4. Prior entrepreneurial experience
5. Experience operating in a Scrum environment
