Job Description

You are at the front-line of med-tech innovation. You’ll join a top talent, fun, diverse, tight-knit team of experienced professionals who have worked in healthcare and technology across multiple functions. You're part of the product team, interface with the engineering, regulatory and quality teams, and manage the technical execution of the product roadmap.

Your mission is to deliver thoughtful, well executed products following our product roadmap, ensure alignment between product and engineering teams, and ensure the quality of release candidates and product iterations throughout the development process.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Ensure cross-company alignment on product roadmap and objectives by fulfilling a deputy Product Owner role in the Agile process to ensure that the engineering teams remain aligned on the product development target. Maintain user stories and the product backlog based on vision for the product.
  • Be the voice of our users (pregnant women and doctors). Participate in usability research and discovery, and take the learnings back to the team. Contribute and maintain a deep understanding of user workflows, user needs and requirements, and translate this knowledge in day-to-day guidance and direction to the engineering teams.
  • Follow the Design Control process to make sure product requirements are translated into design inputs and that the design outputs are complete (cover all requirements).
  • Contribute to feature roadmap with Head of Products, develop and own product briefs and Product Requirement Documents for specific features, lead and own product refinement process with engineering teams to get to design inputs and task-level definitions, define acceptance criteria for each inputs, review and test product increments developed by the engineering team against the specifications and acceptance criteria
  • Maintain design history file, ensure proper designs controls during development, and keep overview of documentation
  • Manage product releases during development, define acceptance criteria, run final tests, own release documentation process. Ensure end-to-end testing will confirm a quality product meeting user needs.

Requirements

You’re a passionate and experienced medical device technical product manager with a track record of taking medical devices through the development cycle and to market. You're praised for your listening and communication skills. You work fast without compromising on quality. You’re curious. You’re proud of the products you've managed and how they change people’s lives.

To succeed in this role, it will help to have:

  • 3+ year experience as technical product manager or product owner for medical devices
  • Experience with software products
  • Experience working within Agile teams
  • Proven track record in getting medical devices through FDA or CE marking, and launching medical product
