Cross Border Talents is searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer for our client in Netherlands. Our client is fast-growing, global engineering organization, who has over 25 years of experience in very demanding markets making them evolve into a very well- respected (co)developer with a unique expertise and competence portfolio, in all aspects: development, engineering and in operations.
Job objective
You will be a member of a versatile team and will be directed in your daily work by the Project Manager and Lead designer. You will be designing and realizing mechatronic systems in a multifaceted team.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and completing design and/or developing proposals based on customer requirements.
- Supporting concept designs with (hand)calculations.
- Creating and presenting transparent, clear reports and presentations on developing proposals.
- Developing design proposals in 3D CAD models and transforming them into drawings.
- Working effectively within the team, adapting to different project stages and adequately adjusting the role to the project.
Requirements
- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a Bachelor and 5+ years experience or Mechanical Engineering with a Bachelor and a Master (WO) level degree.
- 3+ years experience in the field
- Being on the loop of new technologies and techniques within the field.
- Being knowledgable of mechanical constructions and being able to design them.
- Being proficient in translating theory into practical designs.
- Having a good understanding of customer needs and requirements.
- Basic understanding of the different stages in a project development amp; design.
- Experience in using the 3D CAD software.
- Good understanding of construction principles, stiffness, and dynamics.
- Good communication skill in English, both verbally and in writing.
