Electronics AIT Technician

Job Description
Dawn Aerospace is looking for an exceptional Assembly, Integration amp; Test (AIT) Technician with a practical, can-do attitude to join our in-space propulsion team in Delft, The Netherlands.
In this role, you will be responsible for the AIT of electronic equipment for Dawn's satellite propulsion systems ranging from CubeSat up to 1-tonne class. Utilizing Dawn's high-performance green propellant architecture, all systems are assembled, integrated and tested in house. Travel to customer facilities for integration and support should be expected.
- Production of electronic assemblies for use in space according to production instructions.
- Soldering and crimping of electrical wiring on flight hardware.
- Printed circuit board inspection, test, assembly, and rework.
- Integration of electrical assemblies into satellite systems.
- Manufacturing amp; integration of wire harnesses/cable tree construction.
- Building test setups and handling of measurement equipment.
- Inspection, measurement and testing of electronic assemblies.
- Procurement of necessary electronic production, test and measurement equipment and subsequent maintenance and quality control of this equipment.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in hands-on electrical/electronic AIT activities on highly complex systems.
- Experience with crimping and soldering.
- Proven oral and written communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and engineering professionals.
- Capable of working effectively in collaborative team environments and by yourself.
- The ability to adapt to change quickly and positively.
- Experience with basic measurement tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Experience working with digital communication busses, such as CAN, Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485 is a plus.
- Experience working with National Instruments equipment and LabView is a plus.
- Experience working with GitLab and KiCad is a plus.
- Experience working with thermal hardware (heaters, tapes, and sensors) is a plus.
