This will be your challenge
As a procurement consultant you are responsible for:
- The strategic sourcing of MRO in particular to optimize procurement and supply chain processes, costs and supplier performance
- Capital expenditure (CAPEX): where risk management and mitigation, procurement and contract management excellence come into play
- Doing spend analyzes and giving advice with which you fulfil the needs of the customer and also realize these plans and ideas
- Advising on the right procurement strategy, coordinating a complete tender process. Including the negotiations and the conclusion of contracts
- Carrying out contract management during project execution
- Being able to switch at different levels with different stakeholders to achieve your goal. You do this on a national and international level with stakeholders from different cultures and backgrounds
- Dealing with various legal, technical and commercial responsibilities

You bring this
- Completed HBO/WO education
- Minimum of three years of work experience in a similar position and strong network within the industry
- Knowledge of procurement and contract management basics, MRO and CAPEX
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, a feeling for the internal and external political playing field, commercial skills and an entrepreneurial personality
- Communicative, persuasive skills, personal drive and enthusiasm
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language
