Background

We do this through three strategic and complimentary areas of focus: Asset Optimization and Commercialization, Value Access and Outcomes, and Medical Strategy and Communications.

Responsibilities

You should expect to have responsibilities spanning project delivery, business development, NL services growth and development, client engagement and team management, including:

  • Involvement in team leadership, including input to team management, team strategy and decision making on behalf of the team and representation of team within the NL
  • Involvement in our regular Lumanity senior leadership meetings (a cohort of Principals, Directors, Senior Directors and Vice Presidents across the company)
  • Making use of your client relationships to identify new business opportunities within the NL market and build and maintain existing Lumanity client relationships
  • Involvement in reactive and proactive business development activities, including potential project scoping, proposal development and budget approval from a leadership perspective
  • Project delivery from a strategic and technical leadership perspective aligned to team specialist skills and services which include:
    • Clinical research, including desk-based research through to semi-systematic review
    • Development of value propositions and dossiers to support market launch of new products
    • Development of reimbursement strategies and dossiers for submission to health technology assessment (HTA) agencies across Europe and beyond
  • Project leadership and management, including working with clients to understand their strategic objectives and managing project scope to meet these objectives
  • Involvement in recruitment process and decisions, including potential development and build out of the EU HTA amp; Value Communications team
  • Expert advisor on NL market access and involvement in innovation and thought leadership across broader health economic outcomes research (HEOR) and market access topics
  • Responsibility for enabling cross-collaboration and synergies of HTA amp; Value Communications services with other Lumanity and Enterprise service offerings
  • Line management for up to 5 team members, expected to include senior team members who may have their own direct reports and may include remote line management
  • Involvement in team induction and learning and development programs


Time breakdown

We will work with you to find a balance of responsibilities that works for us and for you; however, as a guide the role is anticipated to be split in a ratio of approximately:

  • 60% billable time
  • 20% business development / sales / client engagement / thought leadership
  • 20% team management / development and practice leadership support

Requirements

Skills and experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic visionary with a flexible and team-focused approach and a desire to play a key role in the expansion of our committed HTA amp; Value Communications team. Specific skills and experience must include:

  • At least 5 years’ professional experience in HEOR or market access, preferably in a consultancy, HTA agency or pharmaceutical environment
  • Knowledge of and experience in NL HTA and market access, including development of reimbursement strategies and dossiers for submission to Zorginstituut Nederland (ZIN)
  • Exemplary communication skills with the ability to adapt communication tactics depending on topic and audience and confidence communicating with multiple, varying stakeholders
  • Technical clinical research and writing skills with the ability to identify, interpret and convey complex information as a cohesive narrative
  • Proven ability to mediate, negotiate and problem solve, including the development of risk mitigation strategies for identified challenges within a market access decision problem
  • Experience leading and coordinating on multi-disciplinary project delivery teams and proven ability to deliver projects within timelines, budget and scope
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
