Consulting team

This is a great opportunity for a dynamic and tenacious leader with HEOR and HTA experience to join our HEOR Consulting team. We are a team of HEOR experts who have a unique blend of strategic and tactical knowledge of a wide range of HEOR projects from development of early strategy to delivery of HTA-appropriate materials. Consultants are a trusted strategic partner for our clients accountable for project delivery and meeting client expectations. We lead the strategic direction of projects, fostering collaboration and engagement across teams, providing consulting and project leadership expertise.

Responsibilities

You should expect to have responsibilities spanning project delivery, business development, services growth and development, client engagement and line management, including:

  • Project and strategic leadership on a number of complex multi-disciplinary HEOR/HTA/market access projects and programmes of work, with accountability for meeting both the client’s and Lumanity’s objectives. These will include global evidence and value development programmes, health technology appraisals (HTAs), and reimbursement / market access programmes. The work will involve:
    • Being a trusted strategic partner for our clients that can advise on all activities and deliverables
      • Effectively building and managing relationships with Lumanity’s existing clients
      • Establishing effective partnerships with clients to understand their strategic objectives and milestones; confirming, managing and maintaining the scope of the project to meet those objectives
    • Overall accountability for managing the client relationship and meeting expectations
      • Undertake conflict resolution, mediating, negotiating and problem solving, within and outside of the immediate project team, as needed
      • Identifies and provides ongoing risk mitigation as needed, escalating concerns as appropriate
    • Overall accountability for project delivery
      • Leading and coordinating on multi-disciplinary project delivery teams; communicating effectively with each project team on team roles and responsibilities, and providing clear direction on client objectives for team members. You will also need to lead the team in being adaptable to inevitable project changes and evolving challenges and take decisions on changes in scope
      • Leading on project strategy and direction; identifying potential challenges to product value, and the development of risk mitigation strategies as appropriate.
      • Reviewing and contributing to project deliverables from a strategic perspective, in liaison with internal and external experts, to ensure the content and quality is in accordance with the client’s goals, the project strategy, and with Lumanity’s high standards.
      • Internally accountable for the financial health of the project
  • Involvement in reactive and proactive business development activities, including potential project scoping, proposal and budget development. Making use of your client relationships to identify and pursue new business opportunities and build and maintain existing Lumanity client relationships
  • Involvement in team leadership, including input to team management, team strategy and decision making on behalf of the team
  • Involvement in our regular Lumanity senior leadership meetings (a cohort of Principals, Directors, Senior Directors and Vice Presidents across the company)

Requirements

Your skills and experience

Lumanity is looking for an adaptable, highly motivated and team-focused individual to take on this role in the Consulting team. They will need to have a proven experience in strategically leading complex HEOR projects and be enthused and at home in working within a fast-paced consultancy environment. This role will require an individual with personal energy, confidence and trust in their own consultancy skills, a cool thinker with honed leadership skills. Above all they need to be an excellent communicator and a team player, with tenacity and a passion for delivering high-quality services to clients.

Required

  • At least 5 years’ professional experience in HEOR or market access, preferably in a consultancy, HTA agency or pharmaceutical environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication tactics depending on topic and audience and confidence communicating with multiple, varying stakeholders
  • Experience leading and coordinating on multi-disciplinary project delivery teams, leading project strategy and proven ability to deliver projects within timelines, budget and scope
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to mediate, negotiate and problem solv
