Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Director Brand-Direct to develop and direct the financial well-being of the Brand-Direct branch of Leads.io. You’re responsible for providing financial projections, accounting services and future growth plans of the domestic and foreign entities and work closely with the CFO, Finance Managers and external accountants. You are responsible for a team of three Finance Managers and one Financial Assistant and have a strong sense of leadership. Together you will ensure the finance department is scalable and agile. Taking ownership and pro-actively searching (and addressing) ways to further develop and improve the business will make sure you succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, implement and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends to assist the CFO, CEO, board of directors and other senior executives in performing their jobs
- Translate the facts and figures into a clear vision and know how to transmit this message
- Serve as a strategic partner and financial advisor to the CFO, show entrepreneurship and vision
- Have regular consultation with various stakeholders (CEO - MT) to identify, analyze and optimize cases at an early stage
- Determine the strategy regarding Finance Brand-Direct in consultation with the CFO
- Manage the Finance Team for Brand-Direct, lead the weekly meetings
- Have a strong sense of leadership, you will be responsible for multiple direct reports
- Coach and develop your team to ensure they are ready for the growth of Leads.io
- Draft a KPI dashboard and pro-actively follow-up on the KPI's within the business
- Create an efficient way of working with continuous improvement and ensure the right systems are in place
- Set up various analyses and cast scenarios in consultation with the CFO
Requirements
- Managerial experience with a team of 3 FTE, more is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Organizational and time-management skills
- You take ownership and work on continuous improvement within and outside your team
- Critical thinker, knows how to challenge the status quo
- Attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors
- You have a perfect grasp of the English language, Dutch is a plus
- (post) Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in a similar position (experience within a scale-up is preferred)
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Twinfield, LucaNet)
