The Demand Supply Chain Management Department has a vacancy in Rijswijk, The Netherlands, for the following position:
Logistics Coordinator
(Fulltime)
The main activities and responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate, and execute the logistic inbound and outbound flow of goods at the Delft site, in coordination with the relevant partner functions and transport suppliers.
- Secure service levels and excellence in execution in quality and documentation right first time, minimizing costs and errors in transport booking and fulfillment.
- Lead the customer complaints process, solving difficult or repetitive issues with customers, with a continuous improvement approach, through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Partner with Order Desk team to fulfill monthly demand volumes and prioritize dispatch of goods based on business requirements and available schedules.
- Interact directly with internal customers and via sales with external customers to provide the right customer support and improve the customer experience.
- You are an expert in International Trade amp; Logistics procedures, familiar with multimodal transport modes and export and import procedures.
- Own and report logistic KPI’s and define follow-up actions for improvement.
- You maintain and improve relations with logistics service suppliers, supporting in the preparation of the negotiations of present and/or current contracts and agreements.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Logistics, Demand/Supply Chain or other Supply Chain related roles.
- Relevant experience in SAP.
- Experience in working in an international environment.
- Extensive knowledge about Incoterms and GDP is preferred.
- You have the potential for future growth.
