The Opportunity
You’ll join our growing Onboarding and Technical Services team in the UK and Europe, working with new clients to help plan and manage their Onfido integration and rollout. As one of their first touchpoints at Onfido you’ll be a driving force behind setting customers up for long-term success by delivering a first class onboarding experience and will work closely to deliver technical check-ins and health checks throughout the customer journey post-onboarding.
You’ll work closely with our new customers to ensure they have a first-class experience connecting with Onfido’s API, integrating our SDK into their apps and setting up workflows in our Studio product. You’ll be a subject matter expert on Onfido’s product suite.This role sits in our customer organisation alongside Customer Success and Customer Support who you’ll work closely with to champion our customers internally.

As an Onboarding and Technical Services Consultant at Onfido you will:
  • Be obsessed with providing the best customer experience. You're eager to roll up your sleeves to ensure customers are successful in integrating and rolling out Onfido.
  • Deliver Onboarding and In-Life services for customers in person and/or remotely over video conference.
  • Become an expert in Onfido's identity verification products and how customers should implement them effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance to customers through your knowledge of how our API and SDKs function and can be used.
  • Work closely with Sales, Support and Product Management colleagues to represent the voice of the customer within Onfido.
  • Be a trusted advisor to our customers, supporting them as they take their first steps with Onfido.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and use-cases.
  • Be part of a fast growing team - you'll directly impact the growth of the Professional Services function within Onfido.
We’re looking for a Onboarding and Technical Services Consultant who can display the below skills experience throughout our interview process
  • 2+ years experience in a customer facing role Customer Success, Solution Engineering, Technical Account Management, Professional Services or something similar
  • Self-starter; an ability to operate independently and remotely with customers and colleagues
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Mix of Business and Technical Consulting experience, you’re curious with an ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrable understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns and practical experience with at least one programming language (Swift, Java, Javascript, Python, etc) or with app development on iOS or Android
Desirable:
  • You speak fluent German, Spanish or French
  • Experience working in
