As a Graphic Designer at DGB you help create and deliver high-quality design and layouts for all internal and external communications.
Tasks amp; Responsibilities
- Generate and deliver high quality design and layout of internal and external publications, both on demand/ad hoc, as well as following a predetermined communications annual delivery calendar (containing scheduled publications such as annual reports)
- Deliver the graphic design and layout of formal publications (such as (semi) annual reports)
- Visualisation of branding- and marketing strategies in company style, campaigns, communications, and digital media
- Creation of the graphic design for the company websites
- Graphic design of promotional materials and digital publications: ensure correct layout, typography, style, images, sizing, etc
- Editing visual materials (images and videos)
- Ensuring unified company style across all (digital) media: websites, digital publications, and print media
- Design and create layout for publications/media such as brochures, stationary, web pages, roll ups, digital banners, logos, flyers, reports, blogs, etc, etc)
- Manage, edit, and maintain the visual libraries of images and videos in line with company policies and style, for all employees to use
- Ensure short turnaround times for high quality content
- Collaborate with channel-specific marketing and sales teammates (blogging, email, social media, investment and B2B sales, etc.) to identify areas for growth
- Ensure adherence to company branding and communication policies and guidelines for all generated publications
- Maintain quality control over all generated publications
- Maintain a structured database of content and final products
- Analyze and recommend implementation of improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Previous working in graphic design for a minimum of 2 years (or equivalent competence), with a strong portfolio
- Good understanding of use of typography, color palettes, composition, and design principles
- Excellent visual design skills with understanding of the interaction between the system and the reader/user
- Excellent skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and/or other critical design tooling is required
- Domain expertise in graphic design best practices
- High standards of excellence and attention to detail
- Fluent in English. Dutch or additional language is a plus
- Must be able to deal with ad hoc requests and design inputs
