In a fast paced environment like Gorillas with growing numbers of orders, you, as our new Senior Demand Planner for the Dutch market, will play a crucial role in ensuring product availability within our micro-fulfillment centers across the Netherlands.
What you will be building with us
- Gather and analyze data to develop short and long term forecasts to ensure product availability
- Opportunity to take full ownership of forecasting for different categories of products and to identify and drive changes to improve forecast accuracy
- Support in automating processes, performing complex analysis and providing meaningful and actionable insights to improve overall performance
- Prepare and publish weekly and monthly reports and dashboards on Demand Planning team KPIs (including but not limited to forecast accuracy KPIs)
- Maintain close relationships with other departments to ensure alignment on promotions, special events, seasonal changes as well ensuring impact on forecasting well communicated.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Merchandising or related field
- 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Forecasting or similar role
- Effective verbal and written communication. Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
- Proficiency in computer applications (Google Sheets, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) complemented with robust analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge of advanced analysis techniques and forecasting models
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands without work permit sponsorship
- CPG/FMCG Industry experience and/or start-up/fast moving environment preferred
