The albelli-Photobox group is looking for a seasoned social media manager to oversee our organic social media and content strategy, and execution; to drive community building, engagement, and create a community of brand fans and advocates across our European markets.

You’ll be a key member of the albelli-Photobox group’s pan-European brand team, helping to build a more emotional brand that resonates with our customers and gives longer term reasons to bond. You’ll lead a team, with internal and external agency support, and manage budgets for content, activations and boosting.
Some specific day-to-day responsibilities will include the below:
- Together with the team, you will refresh and execute an insight-led, pan-European, organic social media strategy with close integration to paid social, mobile/app marketing, brand and product marketing teams
- Work with the team, to set clear goals to grow audiences, create engagement, connecting organic social tactics with paid-social commercial goals
- Focus on creating a pan-European approach that balances local needs with scalability and efficiency
- Partner closely with internal creative studio managers on new tactics and formats; and in general, raise the level of creative in organic social media
- Build close relationships with market managers to ensure awareness of plans, clarity of calendar and clear R/R.
- Continuously monitor social performance against KPIs, lead monthly/quarterly reporting, identifying learnings and opportunities
- Oversee publishing and boosting on social media platforms, support the team as needed and add tools/automation to increase efficiency
- Create and manage a brand-partnership, influencer, and activation strategy that aligns with our brand vision
- Be the in-house expert on social media for marketing and creative discussion, challenging assumptions and guiding on best practices
- Work with the wider team on managing the content and blog calendar across markets. Ensuring content speaks to our brand purpose, engages our customers, and encourages advocacy and customer retention
- Work closely with SEO team on content strategy and operations
- Inspire growing team to become ever more expert in social media, content strategy and deliver game changing tactics for our family of brands
- Manage development, goals and career path for direct reports
- Coach team member and intern on social media best practices, identify educational opportunities and help them grow in the industry and the organization
Requirements
- You have pan-European experience managing social media presence for an organization across multiple markets
- You have proven experience building social media strategies that drive audience growth, engagement, and brand love
- You are firmly on the organic side of social media, but with an understanding of how organic tactics can benefit by working together with paid-social activities to improve results
- You have experience with content strategy, both creating for blogs and how to use to populate a content plan in to inspire customers in social.
- You understand the mechanics of boosting and ad-manager and how to use them to grow Facebook and Instagram audiences
- You have proven experience with influencer marketing, using influencers to build brands, and to promote products
- You are an expert in using social listening tools, and using it to gain insights, drive strategy and inform reactive content at a local level
- You stay up to date on the latest trends in social media and look for new opportunities to engage with audiences
- You are well versed in the various formats in key platforms such as Instagram, Facebook. Experience with Pinterest or TikTok a plus
- You have at least 6 year’s experience in organic social media with a year or two experience managing others
