At the root of financial crime are felonies involving drugs, human trafficking and terrorism.

The Sentinels team builds cutting-edge software products to help financial institutions manage risk, meet pressing regulatory requirements, reduce false positives, maximize customer experience, and stop financial crime.
Junior Product Designer
Sentinels is looking for an empathic, curious Junior Product Designer to join the team in its mission to stop financial crime.
In this role, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the user experience of our B2B SaaS platform to allow our customers to reach their goals. With your colleagues in design, product management and engineering, you will have the chance to solve complex, real-world challenges. You will contribute to the entire product design process, from research and discovery to pixel-perfect implementation. You will be part of a small and passionate design team and will have the opportunity to grow and mature within the product team. You will be reporting directly to our Lead Product Designer.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert of the product, and our customer needs based on user research and customer feedback
- Collaboratively iterate on user journeys, user flows, low and high-fidelity designs and asset specifications
- Contribute and help manage the consistency of our design system
- Validate concepts and prototypes with stakeholders and users
Requirements
- Understand the importance of balancing business and technical requirements with user needs
- Familiar with conducting user research, concept and usability testing
- Experience with product design tools like Sketch, Figma or similar
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders

- A design portfolio showing your most recent work
- Already based in the Netherlands
