IreckonCity is a subsidiary of Ireckonu that focuses around, the creation of IoT hosted solutions that help cities modernise their existing water infrastructure.

In order for municipalities and water authorities to proactively manage their networks; they need accurate, real-time data. In addition, they need the tools and technology to correctly analyse, synthesize and process this data to make adjustments relating to capacity utilisation as well as to optimise maintenance and servicing.
Most of our software solutions focus on the reduction of water loss and leakage in clean water networks. At IreckonCity, we’ve focused on developing products and solutions mostly for wastewater systems. To this end, we are developing products such as iPredict, iRecognize and iRing for cities across the Netherlands and beyond.
We are looking to bring a Frontend Developer into the team to help build the dashboards and reactive front ends that will enable our customers to unlock the value of the data our devices are capturing.
Requirements
About You
- You have 5+ years of experience with web frontend development with modern JavaScript tooling (ES6, Webpack, Angular)
- You have knowledge of JavaScript, Angular and integration with REST APIs
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
- Experience with Grafana and PowerBi
- Experience with browser APIs and optimizing front end performance
- You have experience developing, deploying, and maintaining SaaS products
- You have experience working with CI/CD systems
- 1+ years’ experience working with code bases building micro-frontends
- Write high-performance, reusable code
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
- You actively participate in code reviews, design reviews and constructively share your comments on pull requests
- You have an eye for quality
- You have experience mentoring and coaching Medior and Junior Developers
- You have experience working in a multicultural environment
You Will
- Support, extend, and enhance IreckonCity's data-display and dashboard functionality
- Build responsive front-ends for all screens (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- You work on web amp; mobile applications using Angular, Ionic, and React Native
- Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning features using JavaScript and HTML/SASS
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Continuously look for ways to improve IreckonCity by implementing A/B tests
- Develop new user-facing features
- Write high-performance, reusable code
- Mentor Junior Engineers through formal and informal discussions, code reviews, design reviews, technical presentations, or as a consultant on projects.
