What you will do?
As a Senior UX Designer at ChainCargo, you will be responsible for the UX research, design and testing for ChainCargo products. You will have a deep understanding of the company’s target audiences, their behaviours, needs and expectations, and with this knowledge you will create and present design solutions and strategies that bring the user story to life for those audiences. The Senior UX Designer will drive improvements in the overall end-to-end user experience - from the big picture (the overall user experience and consistency across an entire product) down to specifics of UI layout for a feature or service flow.
In this role, you will translate business priorities into research questions and design insights and partner with other designers, developers and product owners to ensure engaging user experiences.
Your main tasks:
- To be responsible for the UX Design of our Mobile Apps and/or Web platform environment.
- To define and perform the user testing and user research process, test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations.
- To analyse business and customer needs alongside potential design options.
- To define holistic user and process flows across products, site structures and site maps.
- To create product deliverables to effectively communicate designs and product requirements.
- To plan and conduct usability tests.
- To act as a mentor and support other design colleagues in their professional growth.
Requirements
Who are you?
You have great communication skills and enjoys working in a team. You are detail-oriented, you care for producing polished work, and are not afraid of taking responsibility for actions and delivery dates. You also want to keep learning and improving.
Required:
- You have 5+ years’ experience in digital Design UX roles.
- You have at least a Bachelor’s degree.
- You have proven experience designing mobile and web solutions.
- You have experience using quantitative and qualitative research to inform design iteration.
- You have knowledge of a collection of best practice user-centred design principles.
- You have experience working with PaaS, B2B enterprise software products or a two-sided marketplace.
- You have professional level of the English language (both spoken and written).
- You have a portfolio demonstrating your visual/interaction design skills.
