Transformation amp; Enablement reports directly to the CEO and our focus is to drive the professionalism of DCSA. In our small team we work hard to identify and operationalise the key processes for DCSA: our product and standards development processes, strategy and OKR process, quality assurance processes, our formal way of working with our members and all other processes that the process owners identify as key. Our success is measured by the extent to which all our internal and external stakeholders satisfactorily work according to those processes. Our work is challenging and complex, as internally we work with multiple (product) teams with differing roadmaps, (internal and external) stakeholders, and milestones. Externally we collaborate with our founding members and industry stakeholders who all have different strategies and priorities. Therefore, you will need the ability to build up your own aligned vision on what is needed for (process) improvement management and the perseverance to deliver accordingly.
As you might already read between the lines, there will be a lot of stakeholder management of all levels, so we expect you to have superb communication and stakeholder management skills to foster teamwork between internal and external project participants and elevate the quality of (y)our output.
Key responsibilities:
- You will work on both business amp; IT processes. For these you, together with the process owner, collect requirements, design them, test them, have them approved, implement with the external and internal stakeholders and continuously look for ways to improve on them once operational;
- In your first months you will hit the ground running by further implementing the Product Development process for our products and standards, and by setting up new processes like the planning and audit process. It is furthermore your responsibility to set-up a business process management framework for continuous improvement;
- Together with the rest of the Tamp;E team you will work on setting up the market insights function in DCSA: collect requirements, decide on the best way forward and execute jointly with our colleagues from the other teams.
Requirements
You have/are
- Strong experience with identifying and leading (process) improvement initiatives
- Smart as a whip, able to distinguish headlines from details
- The capability to express thoughts in a concise, to the point manner
- Take full ownership of the job at hand lead but work jointly with others to identify the objective, the best way to go about it and execute
- Proven effectiveness in working with international organisations amp; stakeholders
- Experience in collaborating with senior management
- High delivery standards
- Familiar with SAFe
- Experience working in product driven organisations
- Flexibility, as you will work in a small team in a fast growing organisation in a demanding industry

- Over 8 yrs. of work experience
Nice to have:
- Experience in setting up quality assurance amp; business intelligence frameworks/dashboards
- Container shipping / logistics experience
