Job Description
Onera is hiring a Medical Device Assembler to join our Manufacturing and Operations (Mamp;O) team, based in Eindhoven. As Medical Device Assembler you will be responsible for manually building, testing and documenting sub-assemblies to ensure product is produced on time and according to specifications.
In this role you will work closely with our engineering team and be heavily involved in the production activity, while also actively supporting receiving and diagnosing returned product for repair or complaint resolution.
This role is full-time and requires in-office presence at our office in Eindhoven.

Key Responsibilities - What You'll Do
You will join an energetic, passionate and internationally-minded team and your responsibilities will include:
- Assembly of mechanical components and integration of electrical ones
- Ensure all product is built and tested according to the documented procedures, and all forms are filled in correctly
- Receive and inspect incoming manufacturing materials to verify that they meeting specifications, and are quality compliant
- Perform integration of firmware and final testing of systems based on instructions before release to finish goods warehouse
- Support engineering in building prototypes for verification testing
- Support Lean and Health and Safety Initiatives
- Provide feedback to engineering and ensure high quality standards are followed for Mamp;O related activities
- Ensure all production equipment and test fixtures are calibrated on schedule, and that raw materials are stored safely, properly, and carrying clear identification
- Manage inventory and stock count for all production goods into and out of the company, including returned product, which needs to be investigated for errors, and reworked to production condition
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- MBO / HBO in a technical area such as Electronics/Electro-Mechanical Technology or Engineering with Electronics background preferred OR min. 2-3 years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment (ISO 9001), medical device industry (ISO 13485) preferred but not required
- Exposure to electronic and other common mechanical measuring and testing equipment such as oscilloscope, laser marker, knowledge of good manufacturing practice (GMP) a plus
- Ability to use common production and workshop tools such as power tools, soldering station, etc.
- Ability to work well in teams and independently, to demonstrate logical thinking and creative problem-solving
- Attention to detail, resilience, patience and disciplined perseverance
- Excellent written and verbal technical communications skills
- Positive attitude, can-do mentality and flexibility much needed in a scale-up
