Job Description

Who We Are

albelli and Photobox Group have merged to create a leading player in the online European photo product and gifting market. Together we now serve a pan-European customer base of over 7 million customers, supported by our 1,150 colleagues across the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Germany, Norway and Sweden.

We’re in the business of ‘one-of-a-kind’ products, so delighting each and every customer is central to everything we do. We focus on inspiring our customers to make beautiful photo products and bring their memorable moments to life.

We face all the traditional challenges and opportunities of a classic e-commerce provider, however, all of our products are bespoke and printed on demand. We provide customers tooling both to create beautiful products quickly, but also to create unique and complex designs. This brings with it the need for a flexible, yet easy to use, creation capability to enable our users to personalise their purchases to their heart’s content.

We're currently building out our tech, product and design teams. We ask that the team spend a minimum of 10% of their month in the office, but team members typically choose to spend 1-2 days a week in person with colleagues. We have offices based across London, Amsterdam and Barcelona and you can apply for this role from any of those locations.

Graphic Designer at Albelli Photobox Group (APG)

In this creative and hands-on position, you’ll work collaboratively with creative strategists, artworkers, designers and product owners to enhance our creative products and improve our customers’ creation experience.

Working with internal clients, you’ll create visual solutions for our photo products including greeting cards, photo books, calendars and more and inspire our customers with new creative solutions. You’ll use Adobe Creative Suite and our proprietary tools to create your designs.

You should have a strong portfolio demonstrating a proven track record in identity, stationary design and illustration, both for print and web. Your experience and passion for design, as well as your ability to work fast and create engaging designs are all essential to be successful in this position

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work on the creation of new and exclusive designs for our photo products - including greetings cards, photo books, calendars and more - helping our customers to have the best design selection to choose from.

Working on a wide range of projects, from concept through to execution (under the supervision of our Head of Product Creative) your creativity will help strengthen our Pan-European brand. You’ll bring independent creative input to the Product Creative Process, supported by consumer and product trends and deliver according to schedule.

You’ll show a consistent approach to design and a clear understanding of the relationship between photo, text and background on a printed 3D product. Where necessary, you’ll correct and format documents before they're sent for testing and manufacture.
