Key Responsibilities - What You'll Do
You will be part of a multidisciplinary, energetic, young, and internationally minded scale-up team. You will have the different responsibilities listed below
- Design amp; prototype product concepts, in close collaboration with Onera’s marketing amp; engineering teams, and Onera’s product engineering amp; manufacturing partners
- Carry out mechanical design engineering amp; prototyping for Onera’s products, prototypes, lab tools and testing equipment
- Integrate industry’s best practices in UX amp; CX design, working closely with Onera’s marketing amp; clinical teams
- Work to continually improve the quality and cost of Onera’s products, materials, and processes
- Coordinate on project status with other project members and management
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of clinical experts, electrical engineers, software engineers, biomedical engineers, and regulatory experts to define the specifications, design, implement, verify, and validate products
Requirements
Your Profile - What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial design engineering or industrial design
- 3+ years hands-on experience on the design, engineering, prototyping, and transfer to production of products in relevant/comparable industries
- 1+ year experience in transfer to production and (remote) management of manufacturing partners
- Experience in 3D modeling in solid works or similar
- Strong combination of engineering knowledge, UX/CX, and hands-on approach to problem solving
- Knowledge of CE-marking processes and relevant ISO standards is a plus
- Experience with agile development environments
- Pragmatic and self-driven
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Positive attitude, can-do mentality, and flexibility much needed in a scale-up!
