What will you do?
The person in this position will be responsible for the testing of the IT solutions created by the Engineering and Development departments. As part of the testing team, he/she is also responsible for the quality of the developed software.
The Software Tester is in charge of defining automated test scenarios for software usability, as well as running the tests and analysing the results and reporting on the effectiveness and defects to the Development Team.
Your main tasks:
- Understand the business case of a User Story.
- Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
- Define automated test scenarios.
- Take part in designing automated test-cases, front and backend.
- Analyse the User Story and its Acceptance Criteria, clarifying and modifying it when required to make the user Story testable.
- Interact with the engineering team to understand product requirements.
- Execute the tests on software usability.
- Analyse the test results on usability, errors or bugs, and prepare reports on the test results.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
Who are you?
- You have at least a Bachelor’s Degree.
- You have at least 5 years of experience as an automated software tester or in a similar role (mandatory).
- Experience in automation testing in JAVA is an advantage.
- Proven experience in data analysis.
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum.
- Professional level of the English language (both spoken and written).
- Working knowledge of Azure Test Plans is a plus.
- It is a plus to have knowledge in automated testing in JavaScript, Python and preferably also in SQL.
- Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) is a plus.
