People Business Partner
Reports to People Director
The ideal candidate will work from our Rotterdam office location; hybrid 2x a week is preferred.
Job Summary
As People Business Partner, you are an instrumental part of the People Team, a strong communicator who will be advising and influencing individuals and teams on a range of Human Resources (HR)-related topics; including organisation design and development, talent planning, compensation, benefits programs and retention.
Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and delivering HR solutions aligned to talent needs and employee engagement that advancesbusiness strategies and growth in tandem with growing employee satisfaction Managing the entire employee lifecycle of programs including benefits and compensation benchmarks Leading management and maintaining employee databases and other related systems Managing the employee performance planning process Supporting, aligning, and refining OPEN Health HR programs and systems Serving as the People Business Partner for the Leadership Team; developing and advising on reports for employees/projectplanning and future projections, hiring plans or other research as needed Managing the absence management process and cases according to local legislation and procedures Providing policy advice and advising line managers and employees on employment law Participating in Global HR projects as directed Working closely with the Talent team and hiring managers, supporting new starter's onboarding activities Managing day-to-day administration and working closely with finance on Monthly payroll for the Netherlands, Germany, andBelgium
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related field Previous experience in a People Business Partner role and experience in a global organisation is highly preferred Broad knowledge of the HR profession, knowledge of Dutch employment law and GDPR required Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and presentation Strong and effective negotiation skills High proficiency in MS365 including Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook and Teams Previous experience working with Works Councils The ability to effectively listen, communicate, manage, collaborate and compromise
